Job Description:
We are seeking an estimator responsible for completing thorough and accurate take-offs and proposals for high end projects bidding out of divisions 5 and 6.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Review and understand all contract documents.
After determining scope, complete accurate and detailed take-offs.
Use internal and external resources to obtain accurate material prices and vendor quotes.
Work with Drafting and Project management departments necessary to ensure the items are bid for constructability, and upon award of the project, are manufactured accordingly.
Compile all material, production, shipping and other associated costs in order to calculate a final proposed bid price for the customer.
Communicate thoroughly with customers regarding RFI's and clarifications.
Respond accurately to customer and internal questions about scope of work and takeoffs.
Upon bid acceptance, facilitate hand-off meetings to ensure efficient and complete transfer of information.
Prepare and present all needed information at hand-off meeting.
Maintain relationships with sub-contractors and vendors to ensure quality proposals.
Organize all information necessary for the bidding process, including specifications, plans and a list of the products to be bid, and distribute info to appropriate vendors for bidding.
Follow up with trade contractors and suppliers to ensure bids are returned in a timely matter.
Responsible for project financial outcomes and accurately forecasting project costs and profitability.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar OR
At least 3 years of experience estimating commercial construction projects.
Ability to successfully estimate commercial projects over $3M.
Able to work collaboratively.
Work with Project management team through to completion.
Review final budget and lessons learned.
Reviewing drawings and project specification manuals.
Perform accurate take offs.
Soliciting competitive bids from subcontractors.
Sourcing material and services, when required.
Preparing timely formal estimates.
Document and organize all backup information.
Maintaining accurate proposal logs.
Prepare and track change orders.
Attend bid leveling meetings and or review leveling sheets.
Review contract purchase orders for accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software and other estimating programs.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Detail oriented, highly organized and possessing a strong work ethic.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified, detail-oriented installer(s) for a full-time position. This position performs installations on job sites, as well as in the fabrication department of our shop.
Responsibilities:
Works directly from drawings to fabricate and install cabinets and casework to AWI standards.
Will perform a variety of installation duties including moldings, trim, casework, solid surface, stone, etc.
Understands typical frameless commercial cabinet fabrication, joinery, and installation methods to produce quality work in a timely fashion
Familiar with all commonly used hardware (slides, hinges, fasteners) a plus
Operates shop and site tools and equipment with proficiency and care
Understands and enforces safe working practices in the shop and on site
Maintains a clean and organized work site
Able to communicate in a professional manner
Able to lift 50 lbs. safely
** Desired applicants will have a minimum 2 years experience with casework/millwork installation/fabrication but we are willing to train the right candidate
Job Specifications:
Install high end commercial millwork, casework and trim packages
Be able to read and understand Architectural drawings
Perform all casework installations, with the ability to troubleshoot and navigate potential site issues to assure level and plumb are always achieved

We are a full-service fabrication & manufacturing shop specializing in custom millwork, decorative metal, cabinetry & stone counter tops. CDI specializes in high end projects that include Casino’s & high-profile commercial projects for major companies. We are currently building a team of quality fabrication technicians and craftsmen with the goal of delivering a unique and superior product for our customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Include the following, as well as performance of other work-related duties as assigned:
Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.
Ability to fabricate/polish custom edges.
Provide assistance to others in moving heavy stone/marble/granite/ etc. materials.
Repair any chips caused by weakness of materials via use of color and epoxy.
This person will be responsible for touching up corners, cutting, polishing.
Fabricating finished mitered joint or seam returns/edges on porcelain.
Maintain an efficient, clean, and organized work area.
Possess a willingness to continually learn new skills and processes
(Prefered) Ability to operate heavy machinery such as:
CNC Machine
Forklift
Crane
Bridge Saw
** MUST Practice safe warehouse procedures, identify potential hazards, and recommend/implement improvements to standard procedures

We are seeking candidates that are organized, maintain a clean shop and be supportive of their fellow co-workers to meet daily goals. Common duties will include driving forklifts, materials handling, in addition to regularly maintaining and cleaning equipment.

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced CNC machine operator to oversee our computer numeric controlled (CNC) machines. Must be willing and able to operate any of our 3 machines and produce parts made of Acrylic, Aluminum, Wood Panels, Granite Slabs, and quartz, ensuring a high quality finished product.
A successful candidate will be a highly skilled professional, with excellent attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. In order to excel in this role, you will also have to possess in-depth knowledge of the latest equipment and techniques emerging in the industry, and be a self-starter capable of working both individually, and in a collaborative environment. At least 1 year experience required.
Responsibilities:
Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, sawing, and milling.
Maintain a clean work environment
Track & manage material inventory
Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to product improved results.
Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality
Provide timelines to supervisor
Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part.
Ensure that results of machining process align with shop quality standards
Conduct regular CNC Machine Maintenance
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
Experience with CAD/CAM software
Familiarity with EnRoute, Mozaik, or Pegasus Stone is a plus
2-3 years of experience as a CNC Machine Operator is a plus
Ability to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings.
Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
Good computer and mathematical skills.
Willingness to wear proper PPE
Forklift experience
Willing to work overtime when necessary
